Continuous Family Violence

Client accused of two separate instances of family violence in which he was accused of throwing household items and hitting his wife.

Possession of Marijuana (4 oz. – 5 lbs.)

A traffic stop was conducted for failure to stop at a stop sign. Officers made contact with Client and found 2 lbs. of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle.

Assault – Family Member

Client tried to prevent his intoxicated wife from driving home and an argument ensued over the keys. Witnesses alleged that Client had struck his wife during the argument.

Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon

Client went with girlfriend to pick up their child from father. The father and girlfriend got into an argument and Client was alleged to gotten involved in the argument and stabbed the father.

Aggravated Assault – Deadly Weapon

Client was alleged to have pointed a gun at his mother’s boyfriend when came to the house and got into a fight with his mother and the family.

Possession of Controlled Substance (4-200g)

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. When officers made contact with the driver they smelled strong of marijuana and allegedly located 5.5 grams of cocaine in Clients pocket.

Assault – Security Officer

Client was asked to leave a restaurant and got into argument with security officer while in parking lot. Client was accused of striking the security officer several times in the face.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (4-200g)

Client had a mental health episode and EMS and police arrived and took Client into custody and performed when frisking Client found 4.6 grams of fentanyl.

Deadly Conduct

Client on deferred adjudication for Deadly Conduct and was charged with new offenses in another state. Motion to revoke probation was dismissed and Client was allowed to continue probation.

Unlawful Restraint – Serious Bodily Injury & Assault – Family Member 2nd

While on probation for Unlawful Restraint – Serious Bodily Injury the Client was charged with Assault – Family Member 2nd for allegedly throwing his girlfriend to the ground and striking her in the face. Clients new case was dismissed and they were allowed to continue probation.

Burglary of a Habitation

Client was hired to fix complaining witness’s broken pipes. Complaining witness accused Client of breaking into home while in the shower and taking personal items.

Assault – Family Member – Impeding Breathing

Complainant accused Client of breaking back door and entering their home where argument began to get physical and Client was alleged to have put their hands around their neck causing complainant to be unable to breath for 10 seconds.

Possession with Intent to Deliver (4-200g)

Officers stopped Client for city warrants and found 22.2 grams of cocaine in a bag just outside of Client’s car where he had stopped.
